Prof Paul PACE [B.Ed. (Hons.), M.Ed., Ph.D.] is an associate professor in Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) and science education at the University of Malta. He is the founding director of the Centre for Environmental Education & Research. He served as chairperson of Malta's National Strategy for Education for Sustainable Development; national co-ordinator for the Eco-Schools programme and the GLOBE (Global Learning and Observations to Benefit the Environment) Programme; and vice-chairperson of the Interdiocesan Commission for the Environment of the Maltese Archdiocese.
Dr. Mark Mifsud [B.Ed (Hons.), M.Sc., PhD, MiBiol, MIEEM, MiEnvSc, CBiol, CEnv, CSci, AMPS, ARPS] is a senior lecturer at the Centre for Environmental Education and Research at the University of Malta. He was previously co-ordinator of policy to the Minister of the Environment and Rural Affairs, and has international working experience in three continents. Mark has published in excess of 40 publications.
