Peter James


Peter James is a best-selling British crime fiction author, born in 1948. Before becoming an author, James had a series of interesting jobs including being the assistant to Jack Tinker (theatre critic), being Orson Welles’ house cleaner and writing and producing films through his jointly-owned production company. James has written 28 books, his Roy Grace book series being the most popular. The first or the series, Dead Simple, was released in 2005 and has released one a year since then. James has also made history by having the first electronic novel. His novel Host was published in 1993 on two floppy discs, which can be found in the Science Museum.
