Stephen King

Stephen King, born in 1947, is an American author known for his supernatural fiction, horror, fantasy and suspense books. King has published more than 50 books and has sold more than 350 million copies around the world. He has also written almost 200 short stories, most of which can be found in book collections. King is best known for his books Carrie, The Shining, Cujo and The Green Mile. Many of these novels have been adapted into films. The Shawshank Redemption is based on King’s novel Rita Hayworth and Shawshank Redemption, which is often considered one of the greatest films of all time.
