Wer nur etwas Freude an Sprache hat, der r umt diesem wichtigen W rterbuch gern einen zentralen Platz in seinem B cherregal ein. Ein Liebstes aus dem Papiervolk der B cher hervorzuheben, hei t es ber alle anderen zu stellen. Das scheint mir bei Menschen noch leichter. F r viele mag es die lebensspendende Mama sein. Und so gibt es auch unter den B chern eine Mama, die mir die liebste ist. Verschl ge es mich auf eine einsame Insel, w re es nur halb so schlimm, wenn es sie mit dorthin verschl ge: Dass ich die Sprache nicht verlerne, 'Der gro e Kluge', etymologisches W rterbuch von De Gruyter. Ist auf meiner hiesigen Insel eine Bedeutung weggerutscht, weil mir die Neusprech des digitalen Aberglaubens in den Ohren pfeift, greife ich zum 'Gro en Kluge'.
