Johannes Hinrich von Borstel is studying to be a cardiologist, and is also one of the best Science Slammers in Germany. He is doing a degree in Human Medicine in Marburg, and works as a paramedic. Since 2013, he has appeared regularly at German Science Slams. David Shaw works as a journalist for Germany's international broadcaster, Deutsche Welle, as well as translating from several languages, including German, Dutch, Russian, and French. He lives in Berlin.
