Author Bio
Rina was in her 30s and had two children before she began university studies with the support of her husband, Felix. She tutored in Anthropology at Sydney University and then lectured in Sociology and Anthropology at the University of Technology, Sydney. She has written numerous journal articles and chapters in academic texts and has written one previous book, From Pasta to Pavlova, A Comparative Study of Italian Immigrants in Sydney and Griffith, published by the University of Queensland Press in 1977.
