Author Bio
Hamish Brown is a legendary climber, walker, traveller and author. He is the author and editor of many books, including Tom Weir, an anthology of work selected from throughout the great man's life which provide a vivid self-portrait. Hamish Brown is also an editor, poet and short story writer as well as an acknowledged expert on all things Scottish and explorer of the country's many highways and byways. In 2015, Hamish Brown was awarded an OWPG Lifetime Achievement Award for his outstanding contribution to outdoor writing/photography. In 2017, he was named as the 10th recipient of the Scottish Award for Excellence in Mountain Culture.
