Author Bio
Sam Hutchinson runs b small publishing along with his colleague Catherine Bruzzone. Both members of the b small team love nothing more than cutting, colouring and sticking their way through fascinating facts and knowledgeable non-fiction topics including nature, history, art, science and foreign language learning. Clare Beaton was brought up in North London where she still lives and works. Having studied graphics and illustration at art college, within a year Clare got a job at the BBC as an illustrator for children's programmes. After creating a felt activity book for b small publishing, Clare developed her popular illustration style using felt, buttons, braid and fabrics. Clare still illustrates and writes lots of pen and ink activity books for b small publishing and is developing a range of paper collage books.
