Synopsis

Author Bio
Kath McKay lives in Leeds, grew up in Kirkby, near Liverpool, and was educated in Belfast and London. She teaches creative writing in Hull University's English department, and has taught for Goldsmiths, Birkbeck and Leeds and Bradford universities. Her first poetry collection, Anyone Left Standing, won the Poetry Business Competition. She won an Arts Council Grant for the Arts award and a Writer's Award for her short fiction. Other projects included collaborative work with a graphic artist, Janis Goodman, one on head lice, and one on teeth.
