The stories could be read out in class or given to children to read independently. The parables and miracles stories are beautiful illustrated by Jackie Morris. MARY HOFFMAN has written over 90 books for children that range from picture books to novels. Amazing Grace, illustrated by Caroline Binch, was commended for the Kate Greenway Medal and has, together with its sequels, sold over 1.5 million copies. Mary Hoffman lives in Oxfordshire.

JACKIE MORRIS is internationally admired for her imaginative and atmospheric picture books, illustrated with watercolours and often with a fantasy dimension. Her previous books include The Snow Leopard, The Ice Bear and Tell Me a Dragon. Her books Seal Children, New Born Child and One Cheetah, One Cherry were published by Otter-Barry Books in 2016.
