The Broons Guide Tae... Etiquette and Good Manners: 2

by TheBroons (Author)

Synopsis

It is essential in polite society to be aware of social niceties. One needs to be aware when cooling your luncheon that one's bunnet should be wafted over the hot nourishment in a clockwise manner. Similarly, the right pinkie should be raised slightly when slurping tea from a saucer. And one's french fries should only be eaten off pages from The Times! The Broons family will assist you in learning the social graces in this beautifully illustrated guide. But remember when laughing robustly at their antics, it is important to keep ones false teeth firmly in place as flying `wallies' may offend.

Author Bio
The Broons are billed as 'the happy family that makes every family happy'. Though they are ten in number, the family enjoys staying together in the small tenement flat of 10 Glebe Street, Auchentogle. The family is made up of Paw and Maw Broon who are parents to eight children! Two older sons, Hen and Joe, and two grown-up daughters, Daphne and Maggie. The younger children are Horace, who is the brains of the family, and the Twins (identical boys) plus the Bairn, a cut down version of Maw and wiser than her years. Last, but by no means least, is the roguish Granpaw Broon. The Broons cartoon strip appears every week in the Sunday Post newspaper.
