Synopsis

The influence of money loans on global affairs appears to be driven by corrupt banking and large scale investors who manipulate the markets. Leonora is drawn into this ruthless world when she meets Dr. Sean Doherty. Leonora is a privileged woman schooled in the arts, raised among gentry who are seriously wealthy. Richard is a poor farmer's son. They meet in the woods surrounding her family's stately home and become young sweethearts. Richard is called up to serve in Britain's dirty war in Kenya and when he returns they marry, resulting in Leonora's disinheritance. Their financial ruin finally wrecks the marriage. They take lovers who change their perceptions of life but their abiding love for each other rides out the storm.

Author Bio
Ray Coleman was Born in Warwickshire in September 1932, he has been married for 58 years and has a grown up family. He attended grammar school and went on to serve in the RAF as a national serviceman and was in Kenya during the 1952 to 1954 Mau Mau uprising. Now retired Ray says that he always wanted to write but have never found the time to take it up seriously. He draws on his own experiences of life and they are woven into his work.
