Synopsis

Katherine is a girl with a big imagination. She lives with her mum and dad at the Buttercup Bakery and says decorating cupcakes is delicious fun. She spends her time daydreaming about cooking on a TV show or treasure hunting in the orchard with her friends. Katherine and her friends can hardly believe their luck when they find gold in the roots of the corkscrew tree! Grandma Daisy says she believes in fairies but Katherine definitely does not, she thinks her grandma is talking nonsense. When grandma suggests they chooses a recipe from a book of Cooking Spells Katherine says the book must have been written by a witch. That when strange things start to happen to Katherine. . .Katherine closed her eyes and imagined a magical world Katherine is a girl with a big imagination. When she isn't baking she likes playing with her friends in her den. Treasure hunting in the orchard is their favourite game. One day they found something exciting in the roots of the crazy corkscrew tree. Grandma Daisy believes in fairies and says strange things happen at the Buttercup bakery because it's so old. Katherine definitely doesn't believe in fairies and ignores her Grandma's stories. However, when Grandma's spooky friend arrives strange things start to happen to Katherine...
