Body Moves: Choose the right exercise to improve your health and prevent illness

by Debra Daley (Author)

Synopsis

Debra Daley looks at more than 50 common health conditions and explains how specific exercises can help to reduce their symptoms and stave off illness. Along with the hard evidence about the benefits of different types of exercise, Debra keeps it simple all the way, telling you what to do, how often to do it, and why it works: discover how to help prevent chronic health problems, such as heart disease, stroke, diabetes, obesity and arthritis, but also ways to make a positive difference to normal experiences such as pregnancy, sexual wellbeing and ageing. With a directory describing a range of exercises that details how they can help disease prevention, "Body Moves" is a must-have book for anyone who wants to permanently improve their health.
