Author Bio
BORN in Wrexham and brought up in Merseyside, Charlie Landsborough was no overnight sensation - he didn't taste fame until his 50s. Charlie's career took off when he played What Colour is the Wind - his breakthrough single - on Irish television in 1994. After 22 years of playing small venues, his album was keeping the likes of The Chieftains and Celine Dion off the top spot in Ireland and he was off to Nashville to meet and play with his heroes. Since then he has become a household name, with sell-out tours in Australia, America, Ireland and the UK. Charlie has won just about every award possible in the UK country scene. He is a much-loved and versatile entertainer with many stories to tell.
