Media Reviews
Rob's book The Family Kitchen really is an inspiring family cookbook to use to encourage kids to eat well, enjoy cooking and get involved. The photography looks fantastic and the step-by-step recipes are easy to use. Everybody with or without kids should go out and buy this book. -- Tom Kerridge
I love this book. It goes straight to the heart of family togetherness. It is written by a man who, of course, understands food, but also understands the pressures of both time and money that come with looking after a family. -- Gregg Wallace
Rob Kirby's The Family Kitchen is a bright and uplifting collection of cleverly conceived, delicious, easy kitchen treats and smart takes on grown-up gastronomy. It's all presented beautifully in an eye-catching and mouth-watering array of photos by photographer Lara Holmes and food stylist Katie Cecil and will be an ace in any home cook's pack. That a proportion of the proceeds of this lovely book will be used to support the work of The Great Ormond Street School and enhance the lives and education of the children cared for by that great institution, is a generous and wonderful thing. -- Andrew Ridgeley
Rob Kirby has been a mate for years. He is a top chef and this is a top book! The recipes work and cater for every event in the family household. Buy it and raise your game in the kitchen!.... And all for a good cause.... What more reason do you need? -- Angela Hartnett
This has everything you want in a family cookbook - from messing about with bananas and Nutella to sticky chicken legs, macaroni cheese and fish and chips (but not as you know it). And plenty to tempt young taste buds further and get them having fun in the kitchen. I might even leave them there. -- Rory Bremner
