Author Bio
Rob Jackson adds a new strong UK dimension to the authorial team. As former Director of Development and Innovation at Volunteering England, Rob is a UK leading expert on volunteering and was chair of the Institute of Fundraising working party that developed the UK's first code of good practice on volunteer fundraising. He has been Head of Fundraising Strategy for the Royal National Institute of Blind People (RNIB) and now runs Rob Jackson Consulting Ltd. Rob writes, speaks and trains management internationally and is an active volunteer himself. Original authors Steve McCurley and Richard Lynch are both long-established and internationally-recognised US consultants in the field of effective volunteer involvement. Both speak, train and advise widely and between them have 50 years experience in working with and helping voluntary organisations.
