Buy it! --Amazon Reviewer Fantastic, excellent, awesome! --Amazon reviewer Excellent starter book --Amazon reviewer Fantastic, excellent, awesome! --Amazon reviewer Excellent starter book --Amazon reviewer ' This is an excellent introduction to the concepts of counselling. It has a clear format and is written in a user- friendly style. The language is easily comprehensive even to those who may not be familiar with the jargon of counselling. The inclusion of margin notes and glossary of definitions is really useful for clarification of terms. Readers are also encouraged to reflect on their learning as they read the text which is a parallel to the counselling training process. Well selected inspirational references are thought provoking and encourage readers to think about their own philosophy of counselling and generally being human and relational! As this edition includes up-to-date current thinking in the field of counselling and psychotherapy it is a highly recommendable companion for students. It really does deliver what the titles promises.' Jacqui Fromberg. Counsellor/Supervisor/Trainer
