Author Bio
Deirdre Huston is an author and photographer whose work is inspired by her love of the outdoors. She is co-author of the popular leisure cycling guidebook Cycling in Sussex, a collection of local routes on quiet lanes and off-road trails. Researching guidebooks gives her the perfect excuse to indulge her love of cycling, walking and photography, and it is through cycling with her family and friends that she has come to recognise the differing needs of various cyclists. A qualified teacher and mother of three, Deirdre was born in Sussex. She enjoys exploring favourite and familiar places as much as seeking out new locations which are tucked away, yet to be discovered. Deirdre runs community-based Young Writers Workshops in mid-Sussex and is author of the children's story Jake, Zee-Bee and the Crystal Quest. She is currently researching a walking book for the South Downs National Park.
