Synopsis

My family of four consists of two vegetarians and two carnivores. As a busy but conscientious mum, juggling family and career, I searched high and low for a book that would show me how to adapt our favourite family recipes to provide a meat and a vegetarian version of the same meal, without having to trawl around specialist health food shops or cook two separate dishes each day. I couldn't find the book I needed so I decided to write one. Contents: 1. Vegetarians and the Vegetarian Diet; 2. Using the Recipes; 3. Quick start breakfasts; 4. Light meals and lunches; 5. Family Favourite Main Courses; 6. Party Food and Snacks; 7. Entertaining and Special Occasions; 8. Basic Recipes; 9. Four-Weekly Menu Plan and Shopping List.
