Media Reviews
This book allows nMRCGP candidates to assess their knowledge base and ensure that it's adequate for their upcoming AKT exam. Excellent explanatory notes are provided, and important topics are well represented. Dr Kurt Wilson, GP and Teaching Fellow, Community-Based Medical Education, University of Manchester. A comprehensive and wide ranging set of questions which would serve as a useful revision aid for the MRCGP. Dr Rupal Shah, GP, London. A good distribution of questions across the specialties of clinical medicine. The papers should provide excellent practice for candidates preparing for the MRCGP especially as quite full answers are provided. Critical appraisal questions were particularly good and fair. GP, Lancashire. I found the colour images really useful, illustrating specific signs. GP, Greater Manchester. Revision books are most useful when they stretch just beyond your comfort zone and thus enable you to expand your knowledge. This is exactly what this book does. Each of the papers cover a good range of subjects with full and informative answers; I find that reading complete explanations of why the correct option is correct (and why the wrong options are wrong), is the most useful feature of any revision text. Alexandra Blackman, Fourth Year Medical Student, Peninsula Medical School.
