Author Bio
Hamish Brown is a distinguished mountaineer, traveller, lecturer, author, editor and poet. He has written extensively on both Scotland and Morocco. In 1997 he received an Honorary Degree of Doctor of Letters from the University of St Andrews. In 2000 he was made an MBE and a Fellow of the Royal Scottish Geographical Society. In 2007 he was awarded an Honorary Degree from the Open University.
