Author Bio
Denise Lewis MBE is one of Britain's most successful athletes. As a heptathlete (100m hurdles, high jump, shot put, 200m, long jump, javelin, 800m), her palmares include two World Championship silver medals, a European Championship Gold, and the Olympic Gold she took at Sydney in 2000. Injury forced her out of the 2004 Olympics, but she had the consolation of finishing in the silver medal position in BBC's Strictly Come Dancing. She was awarded an MBE in 1999 and gave birth to her first daughter in April 2002.
