Author Bio
Jonathan Parker is Head of Social Work at the University of Hull. He has taught social work theory and practice for many years, was instrumental in developing a practice unit attached to the University, and worked as a social worker and psychotherapist before starting his academic career. He is the author of numerous books and articles on social work practice. Greta Bradley is a Senior Lecturer in Social Work at the University of Hull, where she teaches community care and research methods. She has practice and management experience in the statutory sector. Her recent research is on aspects of charging for long term care and a follow-up study of care managers.
