Wedding Photography: A Professional Guide

Wedding Photography: A Professional Guide

by Morag Mac Donald (Author)

Synopsis

Now that the cost of the average wedding runs well into five figures, the job of capturing a complete record of the great day has become critical, and those who undertake it, even if they are not themselves professional photographers, will want to make sure they are fully prepared and equipped to deliver a completed album that is up to the highest standards. To ensure that they achieve the best results they need look no further than this admirably comprehensive and practical manual which is packed with inspirational examples of the very best work from around the world.

The book, which is aimed at both amateur and professional photographers, starts with a discussion of the choice of equipment available, and then goes on to take the reader through every aspect of a wedding shoot - preparations and planning, locations and poses, the execution of the shoot, printing and work in the digital darkroom, designing an album - and ends with a chapter on the business aspects of wedding photography.
