Author Bio
Vessantara (Anthony McMahon) is a well-published and respected Buddhist author, meditator and teacher. A senior member of the Western Buddhist Order, his name means 'Ocean Within'. Vessantara has a particular interest in Tibetan Buddhism and some of the visualisation practices found therein. He is known particularly as storyteller. Other books by Vessantara include Meeting the Buddhas, Female Deities in Buddhism, The Mandala of the Five Buddhas and The Vajra and Bell.
