The Great Grammar Book

The Great Grammar Book

by Kate Petty (Author), Jennie Maizels (Illustrator)

Synopsis

A modern grammar for young children to match the wackiest of ABCs. The points covered are very basic indeed and include; nouns, verbs, adjectives, adverbs, pronouns, prepositions, conjunctions, plurals and the sentence. Each point is put over in the most appealing way possible, using flaps, tabs, pop-ups, wheels and other novelty devices that children will love. Who could resist learning with Alan Adjective and Vera Verb, or pulling the tab and watching the sentence fall into place on the final spread, once all the grammar points have been learned?
