Ultimately, he encourages churches in this country to learn from the churches' millennium experience as they face the challenge of mission in the 21st century. Part One contains the author's account of what happened leading up to and including Millennium Eve, while Part Two features contributions from significant figures, including Bishop Gavin Reid and Harriet Crabtree, offering a variety of perspectives on the success or otherwise of the churches' millennium activities.
