Bob Gilhooley came to painting later in life. Although reasonably good at art and craft in school he was never encouraged by his teachers. After successfully running the family Garage business for 20 years. And raising a family. He changed careers running a Hotel business for a further 14 years with his wife Beverly. With Art as a hobby he progressed mainly self taught, painting in Oils and Watercolours.
