  This text is a companion volume to Bubblecars and Microcars Colour Family Album , 1994. In the difficult postwar years, these microcars were meant to fill the gap between expensive, full sized real cars, scooters and motorcycles. Some of these microcars - such as the BMW 600 - were a commercial success, whilst others struggled to reach double-figure production.
