Media Reviews
This books shows the disability being taken absolutely for granted and, what's more, concentrate on the person in the wheelchair, not the chair itself. Especially suitable for young disabled children and their class-mates since they're allowed to assume, matter of factly, that they'll grow up to lead an active, normal family life Books for Keeps I was struck by the positive angle this was written from. I liked the point that it portrayed a disabled parent taking his children out for the day by himself and everybody concerned thoroughly enjoying themselves. The direct approach helped, it definitely gripped both my son and I from the beginning of the story -- H. Lidbitter Patentability News
