After an education which included Harvard and Oxford, he travelled and wrote for the New Yorker magazine. Aged 20, he published his first book. Soon he had established himself as a successful author and young man about Manhattan. Blindness to him was no longer a problem. What he lacked, or so he thought, was love, sex and marriage. And so began a series of love affairs. All For Love recounts his relationships with four women and his search for self-understanding.
