Rohan Gunaratna is head of the International Centre on Political Violence and Terrorism Research and Professor of Security Studies at the S. Rajaratnam School of International Studies, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. He is the author of numerous books, including Inside Al Qaeda: Global Network of Terror (2002) and Countering Terrorism (Reaktion, 2006). Khuram Iqbal is Head of Research at the Pak Institute for Peace Studies, Islamabad, Pakistan. He has conducted extensive field research on Islamist organizations, suicide terrorism, radicalization and madrassas in Pakistan.
