Author Bio
Alison Ellen trained in textile design in the 1960s - she started her own business designing and making hand-knitted garments in the 1980s. For the past twenty-five years she has been teaching on a part-time basis textile groups around the UK. She is aware of the need to encourage people to rediscover hand knitting, which has slipped into a very low profile in the UK.
