Synopsis

Forget the lesser-spotted newt; forget the golden-crested gibbon; there is a wily and illusive prey out there that is far trickier to find and far more worthy of the effort - The Ideal Man.

Small enough to fit in your handbag, but sufficiently comprehensive to be invaluable when analysing his appearance, habitat, feeding habits, job, mating techniques and behaviour patterns, 'The Spotter's Guide to the Male Species' will let you pick out the polished gem from the rough diamond.

Find out everything you need to know about this elusive and fascinating species: identifying characteristics and distinctive plumage; homing instincts and choice of natural habitat; what he eats and drinks; and - most importantly - what his mating habits are.

With easy-to-follow tips and advice that take the leg-work out of searching for that elusive perfect

partner, Juliette Wills' humorous guidebook is the fail-safe route to survival of the fittest.
