Unfinished Business

by TerryMaher (Author)

Synopsis

The dissolute Mark Palmer thinks his problems are finally over when he sells his ailing family business, but the reality is that his nightmares are just beginning. The knock-on effect of his financial decisions is messy: Palmer's accountant, Jeremy Stevens, is left to contemplate his own financial ruin and a business in tatters, while the steely, glamorous investment-banker, Sarah Armstrong, finds that what she dismissed as a mere 'blip' ends up in the high court. This compelling story of greed, corruption, fear and intrigue in the City is essential reading for anyone attracted by the cut-throat world of corporate finance. Full of accurate and convincing detail, Unfinished Business combines unfolding personal dramas with the dog-eat-dog world of big business.
