River Avon: A Pictorial History

River Avon: A Pictorial History

by JosephineJeremiah (Author)

Synopsis

The River Avon has been navigable between Tewkesbury, its confluence with the Severn, and Stratford-upon-Avon ever since 1639. It also flows through the towns of Warwick, Stratford, Evesham and Pershore, and the many villages along the river, together with mills, bridges and weirs. I felt I had not only learnt a great deal more about the river but also been privy to the author's own enthusiasm for it. Lovely stuff. +M193
