Changed Lives: Extraordinary Stories of Ordinary People

by SusanB.Williams (Author), PeterR.Holmes (Author)

Synopsis

Stories of people who have been healed of emotional scars through discipleship counselling at Christ Church, Deal, Kent. This is 'a book of stories', stories of ordinary people who have been helped to move from difficulties of various kinds to a state of greater wholeness through a process called 'therapeutic discipleship'. It's also a teaching aid; a tool to unlock change in the reader's own life. It is based on the work of Christ Church, Deal, an independent evangelical church which calls itself an 'open therapeutic community practising workshops and operating by postmodern values and practice'.
