Author Bio
Joan Gannij was born in New York City and raised in Los Angeles. She began her career as a photojournalist documenting pop culture. Born on Amsterdam Avenue, she decided to explore her European roots by relocating to Amsterdam in 1987. She has written and edited various travel guides in the last 15 years, with a focus on Scandinavia. She has her own editorial office in Amsterdam and is currently studying astronomy.
Graham Huner was born in Canada, is a Canadian/Dutch citizen, and has lived in the Netherlands since 1988. He teaches English writing to Dutch journalists and has published fiction and cultural writing for Radio Netherlands and Fodor, among others.
