Author Bio
Christopher Somerville is a freelance writer, journalist and presenter with a special interest in walking and countryside matters. For over ten years he has written the Daily Telegraph's 'Walk of the Month'. He has devised and presented a number of TV and radio series, including Anglia TV's 'Somerville's Walks' and is a regular contributor to BBC Radio 4's 'Excess Baggage'. Other publications include Walking Old Railways (David and Charles 1979), Coastal Walks in England and Wales (Grafton, 1988), Country Walks near London (Simon and Schuster 1994) and Images of Rural Britain (New Holland 2000). He lives in Bristol, England. Chris Coe specializes in landscape, travel and people photography for the national press, guide books, brochures and calendars. He has worked on the British TV travel programme Wish You Were Here and is winner of the inaugural BGTW Best Travel Photography Award.
