Beginner's Guide to Tarot

Beginner's Guide to Tarot

by Giovanni Caselli (Illustrator), JulietSharman-Burke (Author)

Synopsis

On first encountering the tarot many find the number of cards and their associated imagery overwhelming. This book introduces the reader to the tarot deck gradually, in small groups of cards, so that confidence can grow. After practising with a reading for each suit, all the Minor cards are used. Then, the Major cards are introduced until by the end of the book you should be familiar with every card, and be able to start making your own readings using the whole deck. The beautifully illustrated deck has been designed especially for this book and has been inspired by classic decks in which every Minor card is illustrated.
