  First published in 1885, Robert Louis Stevenson's collection of children's verse is now a classic. This edition is the complete version and is illustrated in colour by a wide range of artists from the late 19th to early 20th century including Charles Robinson, Willebeck Le Mair, Millicent Sowerby and Margaret Tarrant. The author, Robert Louis Stevenson (1850-1894), born and educated in Edinburgh, was both a poet and a novelist.
