  The text of this book provides a comprehensive text for Business Studies courses in schools and colleges. It has been specifically written for students taking Advanced GNVQ in Business (mandatory units) and completely revised to meet the 1995 specification. The book has been written in a structured form, with numbered paragraphs, summaries, self-review questions and many different assessment means. It is organised by the eight GNVQ mandatory units. Each chapter contains the following question types: student-centred tasks, review questions and assignments. There are also seven GNVQ-style question papers and answers in the Lecturer's supplement (available seperately) which cover the mandatory units. These can be photocopied and used for testing students. Designed to be used as a course text to support either a course with a high proportion of lecturer's input or one that allows for less contact time and more self-study. For the latter tyoe of course, students will find that the numerous review questions will allow them to test their understanding. The large number of tasks and assignments and the seven GNVQ-style question papers, can be used by lecturers for testing and assessing.
