  The book is grouped by the topics for which attainment targets and programmes of study have been laid down that is number, algebra, measures, shape and space, handling data and using and applying mathematics. Within each topic, the mathematical knowledge required and attainment tests applicable to each of the levels 4, 5, 6 and 7 are given. In this way, the reader can see exactly what level he or she has reached in any topic. Answers, with a marking scheme, are given in an Appendix. There are also Mock Examinations for levels 5 and 6, which cover all the topics, also with answers.
