Sir Matt Busby engendered respect and committment . He created the legendary Busby Babes, a youthful team of talented young men who inspired the dull post-war England to self-confidence and pride as they conquered the footballing world. On February 6th 1956 half of Busby's Manchester United team were killed in the Munich air crash.
