The encounters featured include Kafka meeting Lewis Carroll, Babar meeting Hannibal, Mishima meeting Van Gogh, Issac Newton being felled by the Big Apple, and the Frog Prince being wooed by Brillat-Saverin. Many of these drawings were originally published in the New Yorker magazine.
