This little book is a very useful addition the array of Christian literature on the subject of bring up children.

What a refreshing change to read Ann Benton's spiritual and commonsense perspective on the basic principles of Godly parenting. Her applications are relevant and helpful and her consistent reference to appropriate Bible verses gives real authority to her advice. Having read the book I feel not only inspired, but also excited about my role in building a God - centred home.

A welcome and stimulating addition to contemporary literature on parenting. Ann's book helps parents to take the long view of parenting - What are we doing? We are growing adults! In taking this approach we are encouraged to look at the consequences of unhelpful practices or strategies that are all too common today.

Ann Benton brings a wealth of Biblical wisdom, as well as a great deal of sound common sense to this subject. Over the past years I have learned a great deal from Ann's seminars on parenting, and also from her example as a mother. I am delighted that she has written this book, and would commend it warmly, especially to new parents.
