Author Bio
James Hewitt was born into a military family. At the age of 20, he was commissioned to the Life Guards. He commanded a tank squadron with distinction during the Gulf War and his bravery earned him a mention in Despatches. He left the army in 1991 to pursue an equestrian career in Devon. He has recently appeared on The Games and Back to Reality, which he won.
