Author Bio
Susan Dodd has been writing stories ever since she was a girl and, as a former schoolteacher, has also told quite a few to her pupils. In this - her first published book - she draws on childhood memories of Louth in Lincolnshire and of watching the sparks fly from the grinding machines that her father used in his repair workshop. She says, Even when I was older, the 'magic' and smells of the workshop never left me. Susan Dodd lives with her husband in nearby Waltham and is an avid supporter of Grimsby Town Football Club.
