E. Barrett first visited Moscow in her role as a director of the Christian Children's Fund of Great Britain. Subsequently she had the opportunity to live and work in Moscow for various periods between 1996 and 2003, during which time these photographs were taken. Currently living in North West London, E. Barrett has been a consultant in the international oil and energy industries for over 25 years.
